How to Use Our Templates

Take a look through  this website to find your favourite look, and get DIY tips and tricks.

Once you have found a design you like, you can visit Etsy to try the demo for the design (if editing is via Corjl – we sometimes also use Canva, where a demo is not available) and to purchase.

You will find some editing instructions and information from us inside your Etsy download folder on purchase, alongside links to access your template if it is a Canva template.

The Corjl app will send you an email directly (within 10 minutes) to the address you used on purchase with a link to your template files and editor. You can get in contact if your email from Corjl is missing for any reason, and we’ll send you a new one as soon as we can. We’re in the UK, so might be in a different time zone, but we’ll always send this within 24 hours.

Please note: you will need to create a free account with either Canva or Corjl in order to access, edit and save your templates.

Decide on your preferred size, choose a front (and reverse, if applicable) version to use, and edit your template. You can make simple text changes or image replacements using a mobile phone, but we recommend using a tablet, laptop or desktop computer to edit as there is much more functionality.

You will add your own details and wording, and change the background colour so it matches your theme if needed.

We’ll be adding lots of hints and tips on editing to the blog section of this website soon!

Click on the download button! You will be asked to choose a file format – PDF (recommended for print), JPG or PNG (great for e-invites), if you want to add bleed or trim marks, and the paper size of the printer that you will use so that you can tile multiple designs per sheet and save paper. The files will then download, ready to print or send digitally.

If your design is smaller than A4/Us Letter, then you can print it out at home, using the card of your choice and your finest print settings. Alternatively, use a professional local or online print shop for top-quality results!

For signage, you will need to use a large format printer.
